This is dedication! Our wonderful Love Lowndes team member Isabelle has not only dedicated hours (days, weeks) of her time to help create our 5-11yrs playground, she is now fundraising for the 0-4's new play area by running not one, not two, but three half marathons!

I am running 3 half-marathons in 2 months to raise money towards building an inclusive, fun early-years playground in Lowndes Park, Chesham.

We had a great meeting today with Chesham Environmental Group and Love Lowndes and Chesham Town Council to talk about planting the new playground - when we have raised the money to build it!

We are keen to provide food and homes for a diverse number of creatures - birds, bees, butterflies, moths, hedgehogs amongst others. We hope it will be quite a contrast from the current barren area.

We are so looking forward to donning our purple and taking part in this walk to raise awareness about Dementia.

Come and find us afterwards at our stall in the town hall and learn about what we do, and Love Lowndes as well.

The old playground area was fenced off as a temporary measure when it became clear that the equipment was unsafe. After a site visit the Love Lowndes team asked CTC to prioritise removing it as we could see that people were breaking in and putting themselves in danger.
