Big love to Tiggs McTidge our seed library champion for the Thatto Heath seed library at Thatto Heath library.

It’s really flourishing thanks to the community around it. 🙏🏻

A massive thank you to the Sustainable St Helens Alliance for raising £54 for Green Town St Helens at their lovely event, and to each and every one of you who donated. 💚

Every single penny will go towards starter seed packs for our next seed library! 🌻🌱

Why does this matter? Because seeds are about so much more than growing plants. They’re about giving people the chance to grow their own food, supporting biodiversity, sharing skills, building community and making gardening accessible to everyone.

Seed libraries help people get growing, save seeds, share them with others and pass that knowledge on to the next generation. One tiny seed can grow into something incredible, and one small act of kindness can help an entire community flourish. 🌿

Thank you for believing in what we do and helping us keep growing something positive across St Helens.

Small seeds. Big change. Stronger communities. 💚🌍

What a brilliant first day of half term at Green Town Forest School! 🥰

Today was all about fungi, and the children headed off on their very own little fungi foray, discovering the wonderful world of mushrooms along the way.

Different day, different theme, and so much to explore! 🍂🍄

One of my favourite things is seeing some of the same little faces returning from our summer sessions. It’s lovely watching them grow in confidence and seeing them back out in nature doing what children do best… exploring, learning and getting a bit mucky! ❤️

A massive thank you to everyone involved in making Green Town Forest School happen. It takes a team, and my hat goes off to every single one of you. 🎩👏

Cold, wet, muddy and absolutely loving life. Just how Forest School should be! 🌿💚

Bring on day 2! 🍄🍁

FOUND THANK YOU. Hi all, I’m looking for the woman that did our food at the parr seed library opening. Her name escapes me. Is this you or can anyone help? 🙏🏻

We’re looking for someone with a particular skill to join our little Green Town team!

Next year, we want to ramp up our content across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, and video is where it’s at.

Are you a whizz at making videos? Do you know your Reels from your TikToks? Can you take some of our existing content and recycle it into engaging videos that help us reach more people?

You could help us get our environmental work, community projects and events in front of a whole new audience. 💚

But what’s in it for you?

✨ Build your portfolio with real-world projects.
✨ Develop your video editing and social media skills.
✨ Gain valuable experience for your CV or future career.
✨ Let your creativity run wild and see your work making a genuine difference in the community.
✨ Be part of a grassroots environmental project doing good things locally.

You don’t need to be a professional or have fancy equipment. If you’ve got the skills, ideas and enthusiasm, I’d love to hear from you!

Whether you’re looking to gain experience, try something new or simply want to use your skills for a good cause, this could be right up your street.

📩 Fancy getting involved? Drop me a message!

Let’s see what we can create together. 🌱🎥

👟✨ THE SHINY SHOE CREW IS OFFICIALLY FULL! ✨👟

My word, Facebook is a full-time job in itself! 😂 I’ve currently got 7 jobs on the go, but I’m learning to delegate… apparently! 🤣

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who accepted my invites and booked onto our Christmas workshop. ❤️

Our theme is sustainability, obviously! 🌍 But we don’t ram it down anyone’s throats. We make it accessible, creative and FUN! Because when sustainability becomes something we enjoy, it naturally becomes part of our everyday lives. 💚 And that’s how little changes become big ones!

I can’t wait to see you all at Positive Life Workshops Studio for some festive Shiny Shoe Crew magic! 🎄👟✨
