WHAT WE’VE BEEN WORKING ON

At Listen 4 Change, we’ve been busy making sure parent carer voices are heard.
In May we:
✅ Held SEND Reform workshops with local parent carers
✅ Submitted a collective response to the Government SEND consultation
✅ Shared your feedback with the Department for Education, MPs and senior leaders across education, health and social care
✅ Met with local SEND leaders to help shape future SEND plans in St Helens

Everything we do is guided by YOUR lived experiences.
Thank you to every parent carer who attended events, shared feedback and helped us represent the voices of families in St Helens

A reminder of our coffee evening from 6.30-8pm on Tuesday 19th May at Wonderland Community Centre. Unfortunately Addvanced Solutions will not be able to attend due to staff sickness but please pop in to meet with other parent carers for peer to peer support and to share your experiences and views of local services.

A reminder that the Government’s SEND Consultation closes on 18th May.

Thank you again to everyone who attended our events last week and shared their thoughts on the Schools White Paper and proposed SEND reforms.
Your views helped shape our collective response, which has now been shared with the Department for Education, both St Helens MPs, and senior leaders across education, health and social care services.
