Mid Argyll in Argyll and Bute votes on Thursday 29 October.

The SNP have always done well here. With several right-wing parties standing, they will most likely need transfers to beat the Tories.

Scottish local council elections use preferential voting (where you rank the candidates in order of preference, so votes can transfer to lower preferences from losing candidates). If you don’t vote for the SNP's Andy Buntin as your first preference, make sure you still rank him higher than the Tories further down your ballot.
