What an incredible milestone by Rugby Bengali Association - the 3rd year of Saraswati Puja celebration is a grand success again! 🙏✨🕉️🌼🪷

This year’s celebration beautifully connected us with the heart of Bengali culture including devotion, heritage, learning, and togetherness.

From the sacred rituals and heartfelt pushpanjali to the serene worship of Maa Saraswati, the atmosphere was filled with positivity, wisdom, and blessings. The spirit of Saraswati Puja truly brought our community together in faith and joy.

Our event proudly celebrated:
🌼 The richness of Bengali heritage and traditions
📚 The importance of child education and learning
🎭 A vibrant cultural program showcasing talent and creativity
🍛 Authentic Bengali food that reminded us of home
🤝 A warm social gathering strengthening bonds within our community

Seeing children participate with enthusiasm, families coming together in traditional attire, and everyone enjoying the cultural performances made this celebration even more meaningful. The laughter, the music, the aroma of bhog and Bengali delicacies , everything reflected the essence of Bengal.

Once again, Rugby Bengali Association lit up the heart of Rugby with the warmth of Diwali 2025 🪔🪔

Amid glowing diyas, shared laughter, and rhythms of celebration, our community came together to spread joy, culture, and togetherness 🤝🙏 🎉♥️

For the very first time, our Bengali community took center stage at the Diwali Festival of Rugby and earned heartfelt appreciation and the honour of being recognised by the Mayor of Rugby Cllr. Barbara Brown. 👏👏😊

A beautiful reminder that wherever we are, our traditions shine bright—uniting hearts, homes, and the town we call home. 💛✨

Rugby Durga Puja is a mere few hours away and we are well aware of the importance of good food to pair with Pujo and adda.

Here is the menu of the Kolkata food stall items that will be available for sale across the duration of the event! We are confident you will find something to suit your taste, including your sweet tooth.

Food will be available from around 1 PM on both days. Cash and physical bank cards are preferred Please bring ID if you have pre-ordered Biriyani.
