Giving it our best shot🎯

A huge thank you to representatives from the FA Birmingham, England Rugby, Rugby Borough Council and the Football Foundation for coming to Rugby lions RFC which is currently the home of our personal development-focused sports alternative provision, school inclusion football tournaments, and our ever-growing Sporting Rugby FC inclusion football teams. In different ways offering sport to many where access isnt always available.

​With a shortage of spaces in the town, we truly believe Rugby Lions makes a great home for it. It is already a space that is hugely important for many people in the town, but the facility is in need of development to reach its full potential.

​An extra special shout-out to Rita Joshi from Think Active CSW for her support in this step. Developing Rugby Lions into a space that is vibrant and inclusive all year round—not just supporting the historic rugby club returning them to where they should be, but giving much-needed spaces for football, multi-sports and activity for our community.

If we’re being completely honest… we’ve never been great at posting on social media.

We’ve spent the last few years with our heads down doing the work where it matters most - on the ground. Unless you’ve worked with us directly in schools, local authorities, or through our youth, inclusion and counselling programs, you might not even know what we do!

We take huge pride in our reputation, our team work tirelessly every day to deliver life outcome and wellbeing-focused services that strengthen, develop, and empower our community.

Everything we do - from mentoring a young person, and supporting adults, to our personal development alternative provisions, and running inclusion sessions - is built on real relationships, belonging, and genuine outcomes.

EXPANDING OUR AGE RANGE to 7 to 12 years old for our upcoming Summer Holiday Provision!

​We know that massive, crowded holiday camps can feel overwhelming or chaotic for some children. That’s why we do things differently:

​🌟 Small Groups & Capped Spaces: Every child gets individual attention, encouragement, and space to build confidence—nobody gets left on the sidelines.
🧠 Delivered by our Provision Specialists: Your children are supported by our core provision team, using the exact tried-and-tested model we work with day-to-day in our successful Alternative Provision.

​Whether your child is super active or a bit nervous about joining in, our specialist team knows exactly how to create a safe, supportive, and pressure-free environment where every child thrives!

Get Game Ready CIC is running a 3-Day Pilot Camp.
📅 Dates: July 28th, 29th & 30th

⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

📍 Venue: Rugby Lions RFC, Webb Ellis Drive (CV22 7AU)

🛡️ Staffing: Delivered entirely by our qualified GGR Personal Development (AP) Specialists with high staff-to-child ratios.

Get Game Ready (GGR) CIC is a not-for-profit delivering wellbeing and life outcome services to your community.

Sporting Rugby FC is a fully inclusive football club for mini's to Under 18's. (Currently the only club in Rugby with a dedicated pathway for kids with SEN, SEMH, and physical differences).

We are looking for two motivated individuals to help us grow and build their professional portfolios:

🔹 SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER: You’ll tell the story of GGR’s and SPORTING RUGBYS mission. We need to showcase our community impact across all our services.

🔹 FUNDING & SPONSORSHIP: You’ll research and apply for grants and sponsorships to ensure these services stay accessible to every child in Rugby.
