Get Game Ready (GGR) CIC is a not-for-profit delivering wellbeing and life outcome services to your community.

✅ SIFA (School Inclusion Football Association)

Sporting Rugby FC is a fully inclusive football club for mini's to Under 18's. (Currently the only club in Rugby with a dedicated pathway for kids with SEN, SEMH, and physical differences).

We are looking for two motivated individuals to help us grow and build their professional portfolios:

🔹 SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER: You’ll tell the story of GGR’s and SPORTING RUGBYS mission. We need to showcase our community impact across all our services.

🔹 FUNDING & SPONSORSHIP: You’ll research and apply for grants and sponsorships to ensure these services stay accessible to every child in Rugby.

We’re incredibly proud to officially be part of the Coventry Alternative Provision (CAP) programme with our Inclusion Sports – Get Game Ready daytime provision 🙌
This isn’t just another programme… this is changing lives.
Based at Rugby Lions, our provision uses sport as a vehicle for personal development, helping young people build:

⚽ Confidence
🏉 Life skills
🧠 Mental resilience
🤝 Belonging & support networks

We’re working with learners from KS2–KS4 who may struggle in traditional environments, giving them a space to re-engage, grow, and thrive through sport.

💥 From football, rugby and basketball to wider opportunities like FA coaching and refereeing pathways – we’re opening real doors for young people.
Being approved by CAP means we’ve met a high-quality, rigorously assessed standard, ensuring real impact and outcomes for young people across the region.

Season starts Sunday ⚽️⚽️⚽️

It's tournament time! This Sunday, September 28th, SPORTING RUGBY have four of our amazing teams playing in the Coventry and Warwickshire Pan-Disability League.

For many years, children with SEMH, neurodiversity, and mild physical differences have been largely unrepresented in football. We're incredibly proud to be changing that by providing a fun, inclusive, and welcoming environment where these young players can simply be themselves and play the sport they love.

The action starts at 2:30 PM at the Alan Higgs Centre.

Inspired by the tournament? Now is the perfect time to get involved! Our inclusion teams train every Wednesday evening and we're always looking for new players to join the fun. Our coaching team is hugely experienced, and we're especially proud to have three former players from the league now coaching—they truly understand what the game means to our players.

If you know a child aged 8-16 who loves football but faces barriers to playing, we'd love to welcome them to the team. Get in touch to find out more!

Two major wins for Get Game Ready CIC

We've been certified as an Approved Provider with Coventry Alternative Provision for KS2, KS3 and KS4 and, just last week, also gained approval as a Post 16 provider.🥳🥳
