Volunteers' Week kicks off today - a week dedicated to recognising and celebrating the contribution of volunteers. As volunteers, you know that volunteering brings rewarding moments, proud achievements and lasting memories - and for some, the bittersweet experience of seeing the puppies you’ve supported move on to the next stage of their journey, knowing they will go on to become life-changing dogs.

For this year’s Volunteers’ Week, we’re celebrating the heart of volunteering at Guide Dogs by sharing real stories that capture not just what our volunteers do, but how it feels – the joy, connection, and the sense of purpose and accomplishment they gain from volunteering.

Really interesting morning learning about Doggy first aid at Houlton School, in partnership with OurJay Foundation and Houlton Rugby. Thanks to Lynn for a great presentation and thank you for all the kind donations 🐾

Thank you to Rugby's Eco Hub for allowing us to hire one of their gazebo's for £1. We would definitely recommend to anyone needing garden tools, household equipment etc, to check them out.

The first time you register, there is a £5 annual membership fee.  After this, all loans are charged on a weekly basis.

Thank you everyone for your support at Rugby Garden Centre yesterday!

What a lovely time we had. We met lots of lovely public and were able to share our love and knowledge of the dogs and charity!

We raised £164.24 - thanks everyone for their generosity!
