Our mission is to reduce food waste and minimize landfill while fostering creativity, confidence, and practical skills through recycling, repurposing, and reusing.

Thrift & Thrive Medway would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported the opening of Revival, our new alternative high street shop, on Saturday.

As well as offering a fantastic range of affordable fashion and household goods, Revival will be a hub for creativity, community, and sustainability. Keep an eye on our social media channels for details of the exciting workshops, pop-up events, and catwalk shows coming soon.

At Thrift & Thrive, we are passionate about supporting our community by finding creative ways to reduce waste, reuse resources, and give pre-loved items a new lease of life.

Here’s a look at what our brilliant volunteers have been cooking this week, using rescued and surplus vegetables that might otherwise go to waste.

This week’s soups and meals:
- Tomato & basil soup
- Vegetable & lentil curry
- Spinach pakoras
- Turkey & salad sandwich
- Indian style rice pudding with jam

This week’s recipe highlight: tomato & basil soup

We’re also looking for volunteers to join us at the Bite Bar! If you can spare a few hours Monday to Friday, 11am–2pm, we’d love to hear from you!

Rather than sending usable items to landfill, Thrift & Thrive Medway helps give them a second life within the local community đź’š

We can help with:

âś” Furniture collections
âś” Household item donations
âś” Reusable white goods

Many donated items are repaired, upcycled, reused, or sold at affordable prices to support local people across Medway.
