If you are able to help, items can be purchased via our amazon wish list or dropped at one of our donation points across Medway.

Bligh’s Community Picnic is Back! ☀️

Bring your family, pack a picnic and join us for a fun filled afternoon as we celebrate our amazing community together.

📅 Saturday 5th September
🕦 11:30am–1:30pm
📍 Bligh Primary School Field

There’ll be something for everyone to enjoy, including: Music, Inflatables, Games and activities, and plenty of Family fun throughout the afternoon

Instead of an entry fee, we’re inviting everyone to bring “a tin” to help support the Bligh Food Pantry, providing practical support for local families. If you’re unable to donate, please don’t let that stop you from coming, we’d still love to see you there.

So grab a blanket, pack your favourite picnic and come and celebrate everything that makes our community so special.

We can’t wait to welcome you!

NEWS: 🗣️ A series of free community celebrations will mark the start of Medway’s Pride in Place Programme 🎉

Earlier this year, the government announced three areas in Medway – Twydall, Strood West and Luton – will each benefit from £20million of investment of the next 10 years

🎡 These events are a fun way for local residents in each of the three areas to come together as a community, enjoy a free fun family day out, meet local organisations and find out more about getting involved in the programme 👍

It truly was a special day!

✨ Throwback to an Incredible Day! ✨

It’s been a little while since we hosted the Together in Strood community event at Leigh Academy Strood alongside the Strood West Convening Group, but we’re still talking about what a fantastic day it was! 🤝🌟

Welcoming over 600 visitors, the day was packed with great conversations, wonderful local stalls, and of course, a very popular visit from Beau the therapy goat! 🐐 Highlighting everything that makes our area so special, it was an amazing opportunity to hear your thoughts and ideas for the future of Strood.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came along, supported local groups, and helped make it such a memorable day!
