CVS are working with the Titan Trust which is a charity dedicated to giving disadvantaged families and children a free holiday in their large static caravans at Skegness.

Tony and Felix are Trustees of the Titan Trust with the Titan Porche at Felix’s car showroom, Duffield.

The Trust runs a 16 seat minibus which is available at reasonable rates for self drive hire to other community groups. All proceeds of the hire go to the Titan Trust.

CVS is working with Duffield Parish Council on a project to develop the Trinity Methodist Church into a multi-use community space for the people of Duffield and surrounding area. The Church is a fine early Edwardian building with spacious main room with additional smaller rooms and kitchen.

Would you have a go at Paddle Boarding?
Just visiting Ogston Reservoir on Sunday and saw all these Paddle Boarders out enjoying the day paddling around the reservoir. Then I recalled that Glynn Wilton our Funding Development Worker played a huge part in helping gain funding for these boards. Sometimes when you see all the dots join up, you see just what great work Amber Valley CVS do. Happy boarding at Ogston Reservoir. This week, 5 candidates have completed the Living Well With Pain Workshop with our Social Prescribers.
They have found the course really useful, and have hopefully taken away some strategies to help them live with their long term pain.
