✨ Wellbeing Wednesday! ✨

Bad days don’t undo progress you’ve already made. 💙

Recovery isn’t a straight line. On the hardest days, it’s so easy to look back and feel like you're right back at square one like every step forward didn't matter.

But healing doesn't work that way. A tough day, a setback, or a heavy moment doesn't erase your strength, the skills you’ve learned, or how far you've already come. You are allowed to struggle, and you are still making progress, even when it feels invisible.

Take it one breath at a time today. You've got this. 💪

💬 Save this post or download the reminder image below to keep on your phone for the next time you need a little extra reassurance.

What is one small thing you can do for yourself today just to get through the hours, with zero pressure to be 'productive'? Let's support each other in the replies. 👇

It’s OCD Awareness Week UK. Let’s talk about the reality of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. 💙

When people hear "OCD," they often think of being neat, organised, or liking things tidy. But the reality is far more complex, exhausting, and widely misunderstood.

OCD isn't a personality quirk or a preference for cleanliness. It is a serious, often debilitating mental health condition characterised by two main parts:

1. Obsessions: Unwanted, intrusive, and distressing thoughts, images, or urges.

2. Compulsions: Repetitive behaviours or mental acts a person feels driven to perform to temporarily reduce that intense anxiety.

Living with OCD means fighting a relentless internal battle that goes far beyond surface level habits. It can affect relationships, work, and every aspect of daily life.

If you or someone you love is navigating OCD, please know that you are not broken, you are not alone, and effective support is available. Recovery and relief are possible.

Drop a 💙 or comment below with a book, podcast, or creator that has helped you or a loved one understand OCD better 👇🏾

Sports4Wellbeing is a free weekly peer-support and activity group for adults who may be experiencing mental health difficulties, feeling isolated, or simply looking for a friendly way to become more active and meet new people.

The emphasis is very much on connection, confidence and taking part at your own pace, people do not need to be particularly sporty or fit to attend.

📍 Ripley Leisure Centre
📅 Every Wednesday
🕐 1pm – 3pm
Free to attend

The group offers light activity, informal peer support, social connection and a welcoming space to meet others.

New members are very welcome.
