Amber Valley Stroke Group We are a small charity support group in the amber valley borough of Derbyshire for stroke survivors and their families

The face of stroke is changing from one of "its happens in old Age" to one of " Anyone, Any age, Any where. More and more younger working age people are having strokes, even teenagers, young children & babies. It is important for stroke groups to recognise this change and adapt to offer the right combination of support with a varied program of activities for members to do. With this in mind we are revamping our yearly program to appeal to a broader age range of survivors and their carers.
