Our best advice for half term

Go Low and Slow this means we can see what effects they have on us and helps us to stick to our limits.

Keep Equipment clean - be hygienic and don't share equipment.

Use one drug at a time each drug has a different tolerance and effects.

Being around people when using can keep you safe.

Plan how to get home safely - arrange transport or stay in groups when walking home.

Protect yourself from spiking - it can happen anywhere and to anyone.

Drink water to stay hydrated, swapping to non-alcohol drinks throughout the night.

Eat before you drink - lining your stomach helps with sickness

Know the signs of an overdose and look after your friends.

If someone passes out due to drug or alcohol use put them in the recovery position, if they are breathing. Call for an ambulance.

Learn about the drugs or alcohol you are using to stay safe and know when to be worried about your use.

Pace yourself and know your limits.
