Are you supporting someone with a mental health condition? We want to hear your experience - and make sure the right information is there for Carers like you. πŸ’š

We're working with Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust - Get Involved to improve the information and support available for Carers of people with mental health conditions. That means reviewing what's out there, identifying the gaps, and making sure Carers can access clear, relevant support when they need it most.

Your experiences can help shape something better for every Carer in Nottinghamshire.

Have you ever felt like no one in charge was really listening? We've been working to change that. πŸ—£οΈ

We work year-round to make sure Carers' real experiences are heard by the people making decisions about local support. Recently, we've supported Carers to take part in conversations with Nottingham City Council (My Nottingham ) - creating space for honest discussions about what's working and what needs to improve.

Your experience matters. And it can make a real difference to other Carers across Nottinghamshire.

⭐ Another brilliant organisation joins our Carer Friendly community!
We were delighted to present CVS NOTTS with their Carer Friendly Quality Mark - a well-deserved recognition of the incredible work they do across a wide range of groups, activities, interventions, projects and services supporting Carers throughout Nottinghamshire. πŸ’™

Receiving the Quality Mark is more than a certificate - it's a commitment. And the team at Your CVS have shown exactly what that looks like in practice.
We loved hearing from Tracey Stent, Ageing Well Team Leader, who summed it up beautifully:

"Since doing the Carer Awareness training the information, the support we can now offer our service users and families will hopefully make a positive impact. Being a Carers Champion opens up conversations and brings Carers a sense of trust. Our tagline is 'You matter – we care'."

A huge congratulations to the whole team - particularly Tracey Stent (Ageing Well Team Leader) and Denise Ellis (Digital Inclusion), both of Your CVS, and a big thank you to our own Diane Naylor (Community Engagement Worker) for making the presentation.

πŸ’¬ Know an organisation that should be Carer Friendly? Tag them below - let's keep growing this community!
