Roger’s 2-day journey to Bulbourne is underway!
The bi-annual dry dock maintenance will take place there. It’s a fantastic effort by the volunteer crews and drivers to get Roger there and back. Thanks to everyone involved!

RWT volunteers unloading 10 tonnes of steel ballast from the historic narrowboat Roger into newly aquired steel containers. Roger has to be unballasted every 2 years prior to its trip upto Tring where the timbers are checked and replaced and all the joints between the planks re-caulked.

We hosted the last of our 2026 KS1&2 Educational programmes, ‘Learning at the Lock’ on a very wet day this week.
We were also thrilled to have a successful inspection from the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom, who awarded us our Quality Badge, which is now proudly on display on the Education Centre.
