Ribchester Amateur Theatrical Society (RATS) Ribchester Amateur Theatrical Society perform plays and pantomimes in the village of Ribchester, Lancashire.

The society enjoys large audiences from all over the North West and prides itself on producing high quality productions. Our aim this year is to encourage new members to join the society either in a back stage capacity or as a performer. New members of all ages are welcome from Ribchester and the surrounding villages in the Ribble Valley. We perform in the Ribchester Parochial Hall and our productions usually start at 7.30pm. Tickets are £6 for adults and £3.00 for children.

🕵️‍♂️ MEET SIMON – A DEDICATED MEMBER OF THE RESISTANCE! 🇫🇷

“I am a highly trained member of the Resistance, specialising in secret missions, dramatic entrances and getting absolutely everything wrong!

Fluent in French, English and whatever comes out when the two collide, I am dedicated to saving France… with the assistance of a couple of Camemberts! 🧀🇫🇷

This will be my last starring role, regardless of the expected Hollywood offers!” 🎬😂

With just ONE WEEK TO GO, rehearsals are nearly complete, the Germans are closing in, and chaos is guaranteed!

🇫🇷🎭 MEET THE CAST – ’ALLO ’ALLO! 2: THE CAMEMBERT CAPER! 🎭🇫🇷

Ooh là là! Meet Lisa, who is playing the wonderfully enthusiastic Mimi Labonq! 💋

After swapping her ruby slippers and magic wand from her last RATS appearance, Lisa is back on stage – this time armed with a waitress’s apron, a questionable French accent and a rather alarming obsession with René Artois!

Mimi might be small, but she certainly makes her presence known! As one of the waitresses at Café René, she brings plenty of enthusiasm, mischief and more than a little French frivolity!

Lisa is delighted to be back with RATS and enjoying a completely different challenge from panto. Rehearsals have been full of laughter, ridiculous situations and the occasional struggle to keep a straight face!

Expect misunderstandings, double entendres, Resistance plots, suspicious Germans and absolute chaos at Café René!

🇫🇷 BONJOUR! MEET F***Y! 🇫🇷

Next up in our ’Allo ’Allo! cast introductions is the fabulous Olivia, who is taking on the role of F***y!

A woman of considerable age, questionable hearing and absolutely no intention of going quietly!

Most of F***y’s time is spent in bed, wearing her nightie and bed jacket, shouting for attention and misunderstanding just about everything!

Olivia admits she’s slightly concerned by how naturally the grumpy old woman is coming to her during rehearsals! 😂

Expect plenty of shouting, hilarious misunderstandings and gloriously inappropriate comedy!
