It's been all go behind the scenes today!

Unfortunately, we feel some areas of the field are too wet to cope with vehichles moving on and off (even with the new entrance!). So to prevent anyone getting stuck, and to help the day go as smoothly as possible, the decision has been made to relocate the stalls to Barclay Car Park.

Please rest assured that the area selected for the arena is OK and the schedule of entertainment will be going ahead on the field as planned!

A lot of hardwork and effort goes into making Field Day happen every year and to make any changes at such short notice is never an easy decision.

Some of our fabulous commitee will be helping to keep everyone well fed on Saturday!

With meat from our local butcher Gary Rowles and some delicious homemade cakes, not to mention the very reasonable prices - what's not to love?!

Find them on The 'Rec', near the arena from 12pm.

Make sure you get there before sell out!

All proceeds go straight back into making Longridge Field Day even bigger & better next year.

🎉 It's almost time for Longridge Field Day! 🎉

A day packed with fun, tradition and community spirit awaits, with something for everyone to enjoy:

🎡 Fairground rides
🦆 Hook-a-duck
⚽ Football tournaments
💃 Dancers and performances
🎭 Fancy dress parade
🛍️ Market stalls
🚗 Vintage cars
👑 Crowning of the Field Day Queen

The parade starts at 12.30pm, so make sure you find a good spot along the route. Please note that road closures will be in place during the parade.

Come along, soak up the atmosphere and celebrate one of Longridge's much-loved traditions. We look forward to seeing you there – and don't forget to stop by and say hello to Kick-Ass Cheese! 🧀💛
