🦆🏆 DUCK RACE RESULTS ARE IN! 🏆🦆

What an amazing day, and what an incredible result for Ribchester Playing Field Trust.

This year we sold 2,326 yellow ducks and 50 corporate ducks, raising approximately £6,400 after expenses for our completely charity-funded park. 💚

A huge thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, sponsored a corporate duck, donated a prize, volunteered, helped on the river, sold tickets, shared our posts or simply came along and supported the day. We genuinely could not do it without you.

🥇 1st place: Florence Kilshaw, Duck 373
🥈 2nd place: Charlotte Clews, Duck 1417
🥉 3rd place: Jo Fitchett, Duck 1962

And in our Corporate Duck Race:

🏆 Winner: KAM Drainage, Duck 25
🥈 Runner-up: Bowland Foods, Duck 43

We also had a fantastic line-up of prizes right down to 21st place, and all winners will be contacted this week.

Thank you, Ribchester. Once again you have shown just how much this community supports and values the Rec. Every duck sold helps us maintain, improve and protect the park for future generations.

£6,400 raised. 2,376 ducks sponsored. One brilliant community. 🦆💚

NB No real ducks will be used during the duck race, much to the massive disappointment of my girls when they were little and experienced their first ever duck race! 😂
