From Fear to Friend 2023 Free classes run on Surrey/Sussex border helping children overcome their fear of dogs

The children called 2 dogs to them.

The children walked round and greeted the dogs on their own.

The children tried walking the dogs on their own.

We blindfolded the children for this exercise. They had to identify which dog approached them just by feel. Quite scary for children who are afraid let alone can’t see.

Dogs off lead ran past the children to reach their toys.

17/08/2026

The children remained still and brave while the dogs clambered over them.

This exercise is one of the children’s favourites, parents join in and fun is had by all. The fact that the dogs are running free is forgotten.
