A comprehensive package of advice and cost-of-living support is again available for families and households in Reading who may be struggling financially

In addition to support offered through our four new Reading Family Hubs: Under 5s, our Community Centres, and voluntary and community organisations, it includes direct financial support through the Government’s new Crisis and Resilience Fund, which replaces the Household Support Fund

Residents can apply for financial support for things like food, other shopping, clothing, utilities, and transport, as well as short-term support with housing costs to help them stay in their home

Applications can be made online now ➡️ https://rdguk.info/UYTTQ, by telephone, or in person within the Civic Centre on Bridge Street

They have two workshops planned, one on Tuesday 19th May, between 11.30 and 1pm at New Directions College (330 Northumberland Avenue, RG2 8DH), and then a second one on Thursday 11th June, also 11.30 to 1pm, in the WCDA Community Café (252 Northumberland Avenue, RG2 7QA).
