A massive thank you to the staff, adults and young people at the Abbey School for their huge donation of food for the Whitley Wood Pantry today. Massive thank you to everyone who helped with the garden today - we managed to get soil in the 9 lower level beds. Still got a bit to do, so keep your eye out for future events. One specific thing to mention - our eternal thanks goes out to Emmanuel Church Community Garden, South Lake Crescent in Woodley for their kind donation of so many tools.

We're here at the community garden - are you coming to join us?

The community garden at Whitley Wood Community Centre is definitely taking shape. On Saturday 12th September we did a fair amount of work weeding, building fences and building the new beds, but we’re by no means finished. Join us on Saturday 10th October between 11am and 3pm where we’ll be filling the beds, putting up more fencing, and putting up a poly tunnel. Come along and do as much or as little as you want – lunch and refreshments will be provided.
