Establised 2010, the charity has an excellent track record of Free youth film workshops for ages 13-19yr olds.

After nearly 2 decades of film event screenings the charity founded Ramsgate Community Cinema 2024, where we now host other arts/music events.

This week. Please support our lovely Ramsgate Community Cinema Wednesday evenings 7pm and Friday matinees 2pm.
pay-what-you-can-on-the-door, free tea/coffee and biscuits and free popcorn Wednesday evenings on a first come basis.
Also a licensed bar and comfy lounge.

Great chat with Timothy Spall about GOTHIC, our screening at Ramsgate Community Cinema this Wednesday. Worth listening to the end when he gives a big shout out for us getting back into the town centre again, and the importance of these venues.

So, 57% of the Levelling Up projects are still unfinished.
Let's hope our Neighbourhood Board resident representatives make sure our incoming Pride in Place fund that replaced it gets spent to start regenerating our town and businesses as soon as it is delved out.

So many of the Levelling Up projects, handled by local authorities have"Failed to translate into improvements in the towns". This time, it's residents making the decisions. If they are truly doing that. we can make it happen.

Put in charge, I say - they can manage these small budgets very effectively. On Budget and on Schedule, it's our filmmaker mantra.

Ooh, look what we got! We might not have won the programming award we were nominated for, in this nationwide but the Jury deemed us worthy of this. Not bad, considering there are 1600 community cinemas in the UK. Thanks so much to Cinema For All
