What happens when your workshop is overflowing with bikes? 🚲 You go global! Huge shout out to everyone that has donated a bike to us and to our amazing young people who spent their time in our Bike Project wrenching and tuning these rides. We didn’t stop at Thanet, we've teamed up with Re-Cycle to ship these bikes over to young people and their communities across Africa, helping them get to school, work, and essential healthcare.

Big love to our friends at Harbour Bikes Ramsgate for throwing in extra bikes, wheels, and parts. Now that's what we call community✨

Thanks for all your donations - at the moment, we're not in a position to take any more bikes, but we'll let you know when we are 💛

We love our hometown! What a weekend at Ramsgate Festival of Sound. Did you catch our Emerging Artists at Busk at Dusk? Lola, Max and Buck, and Thao showed everyone why they're ones to watch in our local music scene. Here's a few captures from the day.

This follows Ramsgate Day last month when Eddie and Lola performed. These live gigs are so important for raising their profile, getting real-life experience playing music and importantly - getting to meet you - their Thanet fans.

Did you see them? Let us know by leaving a 💛 in the comments.

We're beyond excited for tomorrow, because our talented Emerging Artists - Max, Buck, Lou and Lola - are performing at Ramsgate Festival of Sound! Not only is this one of our best local festivals, it gives young people a platform to showcase their music for their favourite audience (you!).

Get yourselves down to Busk at Dusk from 1:20 - 4:40pm, at Eastcliff Bandstand (CT11 8JL) for the Pie takeover.

When young musicians are starting out, having people cheer them on really helps to build their confidence. Let's bring the feel-good and give them our support 💛

See you there!

P.S. Just a reminder that our Open Arms session tonight is cancelled due to our emergency maintenance work. We hope to be back to normal next week.

We're sorry to say that the rest of our sessions this week are also cancelled due to our ongoing emergency maintenance work 😔So there will be no Juniors tonight or Open Arms tomorrow evening.

We know how disappointing this must be, especially given the back to school vibes, but we hope to be back to normal next week 🤞

You can still get your Pie fix on Saturday by seeing our Emerging Artists Max, Buck, Lou and Lola perform at Ramsgate Festival of Sound Busk at Dusk from 1:20 - 4:40pm, at Eastcliff Bandstand (CT11 8JL). Go give them some support - they're the next generation of music talent

In the meantime, we want to wish our wonderful Open Arms participants who celebrate Ethiopian new year, Enkutatash, a fab time tomorrow. We'll cook up something delicious to enjoy at our next session.

Our campaign legend Luke is off to Uni and is saying farewell to Pie 👋So we had to award him with a 'Campaign Superstar' certificate and celebratory send off this summer 🌟Luke has been a key part of our campaign to stop our building from being sold at auction, which led to raising the funds AND winning a national award. You'll likely have seen him on our grid and around Thanet campaigning 👀Raising youth voices is vital, now more than ever

Thank you Luke for being such an important member of our Pie family (which you'll always be) 🙏We wish you the very best time at Uni, your future is bright for sure.

Join us in wishing Luke well with a 💛in the comments.

It seems our back to Pie week is imitating the weather... gloomy! We're really sorry but we need to cancel tonight's session too and possibly for the rest of the week, whilst we await essential maintenance work. It's not the start to autumn we'd planned, but there's still lots to look forward to when we're back up and running, including our October Arete adventure trip to Wales. Find details at www.piefactorymusic.com/whats-on-new.

We'll update you on here as soon as sessions are back, hopefully very soon 🤞
