📢 Thank You for Joining Us Last Night! 📢

A huge thank you to all of our members, residents, elected representatives, and councillors who attended the Sittingbourne and Sheppey Residents Association meeting last night.

It was another positive and productive evening, with important updates, constructive discussions, and valuable contributions from everyone in attendance. The strength of our association comes from residents getting involved, sharing their experiences, and working together to improve our communities.

We would also like to thank those councillors and representatives who took the time to attend, listen to residents' concerns, and provide updates on issues affecting our area.
Your continued support and engagement help ensure that local voices are heard and that we can continue campaigning on the issues that matter most to residents across Sittingbourne and Sheppey.

Leasehold reform is finally moving forward, with proposed changes that could give leaseholders more rights and greater protection.

The Sittingbourne & Sheppey Residents Association welcomes reforms that improve transparency, make lease extensions easier, and help residents gain more control over their homes.

But we believe the system still needs deeper reform to truly rebalance power between leaseholders, freeholders and managing agents.
