By popular demand, it’s back for the third year !

It seems that our Avondale style hats are a much anticipated part of the winter season and despite selling hundreds over the last few years, they are still snapped up very quickly once they are advertised on here. Sometimes in only a few minutes 💞

So off we go for autumn / winter 26 and I can promise you some very pretty new yarns, in lots of striking colourways 😊

Well we arrived in the Ber months with a gusty wind, leaf drop and needing socks !!

So to celebrate the 1st day of my favourite few months, here we have the first of what will be regular buy it now, hat drops.

I created our first Avondale hat using a merino, alpaca blend in this pretty colourway of blues and dusky pinks. I picked out the dusky mauve hue and teamed it with a matching brim and pompom. This one costs £24 not including postage if required. First to say me please, gets it 💞

September sees the official start of autumn and our order book certainly reflects that 🍂 🍁 with all of us busy creating the first of your cosy orders.

My September will be all about orders for our very popular traditional blankets, in adult sized versions, with orders for several colourways. They measure just over one metre square so plenty of cosy for cold legs and feet 💞

This is the first and was ordered in shades of pumpkin, mustard and green on a neutral biscuit base. I used a new yarn that is wonderfully soft and drapes beautifully.

My weekend was spent creating this order for four of our tooth fairy door hangers.

These are headed to a dental surgery, to be handed to little ones with wobbly teeth, ready to leave out for the fairy to make the swap !!

They can be hung on your little one’s door handle, with the tooth in her handbag and there’s a pocket on the back for her to leave the swap !

They can be personalised in the fabric colour of your choice and will cost £8 if being collected from me or £13 with postage if required.

Our customer ordered Betsy for her gorgeous niece a while ago but she only has the dress that they come with. The little one has recently started playing dress up and so her Auntie asked if we could create a few outfit changes for the bear.

This order for a pretty BabyCozy gift set, was a team effort from Linda’s needles and my hook.

The customer ordered one of our traditional baby blankets, a newborn lacy cardi and a pair of our boots with a specific sole.

She ordered the set in dusky pinks and white, with furry cuffs as the baby will be born during the winter months.
