A huge thank you to everyone who made this festival unforgettable. To all the visitors who explored our historic sites, the amazing participants who brought history to life, our incredible site partners across Scotland who created such engaging events, and everyone who helped share the stories of 1688-1746.

Your passion for Scottish heritage made this festival truly special. We're already looking forward to next time!

It's the final day of the Festival, but we are busy all the way to the end!

A small detachment of the Regiment is at Crieff & Strathearn Museum today, 12-4pm, talking about The '45, as part of the Jacobite Scotland Festival. Come along and say hello of you're in the area!

Join Sir Arthur Erskine's Regiment on Guided tours around Dunkeld's Battlefield today and tomorrow as part of the Jacobite Scotland festival!

Tours at 10:30am, 12 pm, 2pm and 3:30pm

£10 per person, Kids under 16 go free. Tickets available via eventbrite or in person from the archive.

There is also a free performance on The Taybank Terrace this evening and a re-enactment camp on Saturday and Sunday in Stanley Hill Park!

There's so much happening in this week's festival, but there's also plenty of Jacobite-themed activity coming in the subsequent weeks and months as well.

Our friends at The Fifteen: Northumbrian Jacobite Society have sent us details of this special exhibition from 29 August to 2 September at Dilston Castle.

Derwentwater’s Farewell: The Radcliffes of Dilston (Jacobite Relics & Treasures)
Open each day between 10.00 am and 12.30 pm, and between 1.30 and 4.00 pm.
Entry £5 for adults and teenagers from 12 upwards, including a tour of part of the castle.
Home-made refreshments available. Advance bookings online via Eventbrite or pay on arrival. This exhibition may never be repeated. Don’t miss it.
