ts care and recognises the responsibility to promote safe practice and to protect players from harm, abuse and exploitation. Lothian Colts is run solely by volunteer coaches and administration staff and exists as a non-profit making organisation, strives to promote positive living, nutrition, discipline and exercise through football. We are a fully inclusive organisation which is open to all sections of society regardless of colour, ethnicity, creed, s*xual orientation and s*x. High personal standards are required if players are to progress as both football players and individuals. Discipline in behaviour, timekeeping, dress code, practice schedule, taking instruction and healthy lifestyle are pivotal in the overall development of our Members, both on and off the field of play it is expected that the players will always represent the Club in the correct manner, showing respect to officials, opponents, supporters and hosts/guests at all times. Players must always concentrate and listen to their coaches. Lothian Colts states -"By providing a safe, Friendly environment it is expected that individuals will be given the opportunity to maximize their potential. In pursuit of this goal, We can all help each other to 'be the best that we can be." The aim, is to develop and nurture young talent for the good of the club and for the good of the game as a whole. Each squad is coached twice a week by PVG approved SFA qualified coaches with first aid training.
