🌟 What a fantastic May Half Term Camp! 🌟

We’ve loved looking back at an incredible week packed with fun, learning, and plenty of sport at our Kids Rugby & Multi-Sports and Elite Rugby Player Development Camps.

A real highlight came on Wednesday when we welcomed back special guest, Arron Reed from Sale Sharks, who was of course a PGRFC Mini&Junior, and Sale Sharks Brand & Community Executive Ben Hyde.

The pair spent time with both camps, leading rugby drills, developing skills, and getting everyone involved in some fun rugby-themed games. 🏉

To finish the day, Arron took part in an exclusive Q&A session where campers had the chance to ask questions about his rugby journey, before signing autographs and memorabilia for the children.

A huge thank you to Arron and Ben for taking the time to inspire the next generation and help create such memorable experiences for our young participants.

👋 We’ve welcomed lots of new followers recently, so we thought it was the perfect time to reintroduce ourselves.

At Preston Grasshoppers Community Foundation, we’re passionate about using the power of sport to make a real difference across Preston and the surrounding areas.

Our work goes far beyond the rugby pitch. Every week, we deliver programmes that help children build confidence, support young people through education and mentoring, encourage healthier lifestyles, and create opportunities for people of all ages to connect with their community.

Whether it’s introducing a child to sport for the very first time, helping someone improve their wellbeing, or providing a safe and supportive environment where people can thrive, our mission remains the same:

☀️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR TOMORROW’S RUGBY CAMPS ☀️

With the warm weather expected tomorrow, we ask all parents/carers to ensure children arrive prepared for a day outdoors at our rugby camps!

Please make sure children bring:
🧢 A hat/cap
🧴 Sun cream already applied before arrival
💧 Plenty of water
👕 Suitable lightweight clothing and any other sun protection needed

Please note: Preston Grasshoppers Community Foundation staff are unable to provide or apply sun cream, so this remains the responsibility of parents/carers.
