Nice to get out at Penwortham on the grass and a dry day for the U8 🍊's! Fantastic game for Birthday boy Teddy with a hat trick!

Good 1st half in goal for Harley and some great tackles and defending by Ezra meant they won the PPOTM 🏆.

Aarav won the MPOTM 🏆 with a great 2nd half in goal, and some good diving saves!

Thanks for the cupcakes 🧁 Teddy!

From Coach Dan from under 9 Greens

“In my last game as manager, the whole team got my PoTM. After going down in the first half they worked brilliantly together and completely turned the game around in the second half - excellent team performance”

A real back-and-forth game for our U8 whites today with plenty of action at both ends! ⚽

The boys showed great energy and determination throughout, continuing to battle, work hard and look for opportunities going forward. Plenty of positives and lessons to take into the next game! 💪

🏆 Parents’ Player of the Game – Jaxon 🔥
Relentless energy from start to finish! Brilliant at winning the ball back, working hard for the team and taking his goals really well. Fantastic performance! 👏

🏆 Managers’ Player of the Game – Joseph ⭐
Did everything asked of him today. Excellent at finding space even when surrounded by opposition players and showing great awareness on the pitch. Well deserved! 👏

Keep working hard, boys. Plenty more to come! ❤️🤍🖤

The U9 Blacks played at the SD Tournament in Ramsbottom yesterday . After coming up against some tough teams in the group stage we got through to the quarters but then lost on pens in the semis after a marathon pen shootout! So proud of the boys , as we had a few players missing but they played some great football! Well done boys!! 👏🏻👊🏻🔴⚪⚫
