🐾💙 **A MORNING WITH RPD NEO** 💙🐾

We’ve had a lovely little update from **Retired Police Dog Neo’s dad**. 🐶

Neo is an incredible **16 years old** and, although his walks aren’t quite as long as they used to be these days, he still absolutely loves getting out and enjoying them. ❤️

And judging by these photos, we think Neo knows exactly what should come after a good walk… **breakfast!** 👀🍳😂

That face watching Dad’s full English says it all — surely retired police dogs get a share?! 🥓🐾

It’s always so lovely to see our retired dogs enjoying the simple things in life after giving so much during their working careers.

Keep enjoying those walks, Neo… and keep working on Dad with those puppy-dog eyes! 😂💙🐶

🐾💙 **RPD CUZO — RETIREMENT SUITS YOU!** 💙🐾

We’ve had a lovely little update from **Retired Police Dog Cuzo’s mum**, and it sounds like he has retirement absolutely nailed. 😂

Cuzo is now **14 years old** and has his paws very firmly under the table. He is most definitely the boss and lets everyone know exactly what he wants…and when he wants it! 🐶👑

These days, Cuzo enjoys:

🚗 Being lifted into the car and sitting patiently waiting for his chauffeur
🌧️ Refusing walks if the weather isn’t up to his standards
🧸 Pinching any teddy he comes across whether that’s on a walk, in a shop or even in someone else’s house 😂
🛍️ Emptying bags in the hope of finding treats, presents or maybe even a bit of money for himself
🍟 His very special **Maccy D’s Happy Meal** treat when Dad is off work
❤️ Lots of cuddles, kisses and sharing absolutely everything you have

Apparently, Cuzo thinks he’s far more human than dog, although the **very loud snoring and slightly smelly backside** might give him away! 😂

Most importantly, he is absolutely adored. 💙

Cuzo has been a little unwell recently and has needed a trip to the vets, so we’d love you all to send him **lots of love, cuddles and get-well wishes**. 🐾💙

Feel better soon, handsome boy — and we hope there’s another Happy Meal waiting for you very soon! 🍔🐶

Disclaimer: No retired police dogs were forced to wear Happy Meal boxes in the making of this post… Cuzo’s mum assures us he was fully compensated in cuddles, treats and possibly a few chips. 😂🍟🐾

We are saddened to say we have lost the lady who gave us over 20 years as the Retired Lancashire Police Dog Benevolent Fund treasurer.

Anne Bailey gave so much of her time to do this role.

She knew every retired dog and owner, started our bonus ball fundraiser, got involved in shows and stalls at events and was genuinely a kind hearted lovely lady with an infection laugh

You will always be remembered Anne and your passing is a huge loss to all that knew you 🕊️

💙🐾 AND JUST LIKE THAT… PD VIPER IS OFFICIALLY RETIRED! 🐾💙

What a lovely post from Lancashire Police for a very special boy. 🥹

After eight years of service, Viper has officially hung up his harness and started the next chapter of his life — retirement! 🐶🎉

He has given so much during his working career, and now it’s time for plenty of balls, treats, naps and, of course, the odd pup-a-chino. ☕🎾😂

We’re so proud to be able to follow Viper’s retirement journey and share his next adventures with you all.

A huge thank you to everyone at Lancashire Police and the Dog Unit for everything they’ve done for him throughout his career. 💙

Welcome to retirement, Viper — you’ve more than earned it. 🐾

And don’t worry… this definitely won’t be the last you see of him! 👀💙
