Tonteg Community Centre provides social, recreational, educational and entertainment facilities to the residents of Tonteg and neighbouring areas. Rooms and hall spaces are available for hire for events such as meetings, seminars, workshops, conferences, wedding receptions, funeral parties and commercial hire. Other centre-based activities include: Weight Watchers and Slimming World meetings, Zumb

a Class, Mother & Toddler groups and much more. We can accommodate outdoor events within the large car park, such as car boot sales, fetes, BBQs etc.

In September with the children going back to school, we have lots on offer, including the return of Drama Den on Thursday evenings and Yoga on Sunday evening. We also have new yoga classes on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings.

The Autumn Tonteg Community Market is on Saturday 5th September from 10am until 12.30pm.

There will be lots on offer for all ages and even your four legged friends. Face painting and glitter tattoos will be available along with natural dog treats, Neal's Yard Remedies, handcrafted items by talented local people, fresh bread and local cider.

Refreshments will be available, donated by Fairtrade Pontypridd Masnach Deg along with homemade cake and corned beef pie.

Proceeds from the raffle, lucky dip and refreshments will be donated to MNDA (Motor Neurone Disease Association).

We look forward to seeing you there.

Here is what is happening at the centre in August.

Drama Den are taking a break over the school holidays and will return in September.

Our Wild Souls yoga has the last session of the latest block this weekend and will be back again in September, with additional classes during the week.

Tonteg & Pontypridd Slimming World with Caroline will now be running on Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday mornings.

Thank you all stallholders, visitors and volunteers at our summer tabletop, which took place on Saturday 18th July. A lovely morning was had by all.

Our next tabletop sale will be on Saturday 17th October from 10am until 12pm. More details to follow at a later date.
