📣This Sunday we’ll be celebrating Communion (sometimes called the Lord’s Supper, sometimes called the eucharist) alongside our usual activities.

🍞If you’re not familiar with the Communion Service, it’s the one where bread* and wine** are shared among the congregation. There’ll also be a brief explanation of what Communion means.

🍷One final important point to make, anyone who doesn’t want to share the bread and the wine doesn’t have to and everyone will be totally fine with that.

*the bread is GF
** the wine is non alcoholic

📣What will it be like?
An intentionally intergenerational gathering, where all ages and abilities stay together at all times. Both Welsh and English languages will be used and some BSL. There will be prayers, a short talk and some singing.

📣How long will it last?
No longer than an hour.

📣Beth fydd y fformat?
Cyfarfod wedi’i gynllunio fel bod pobl o bob oedran a gallu yn aros gyda’i gilydd drwy gydol y sesiwn ydy’r fformat. Bydd y Gymraeg a’r Saesneg yn cael eu defnyddio a rhywfaint o Iaith Arwyddion Prydain. Bydd gweddïau, sgwrs fer a rhywfaint o ganu.

We’ve had some exciting news…
BBC Radio Wales are keen to cover the launch of our new ALN Community Hub in Pontypridd next week 💛

As part of this, they’re hoping to speak with a parent/carer about their experience of finding the right spaces and support for their child.

💬 This would be a relaxed chat alongside us - nothing formal or pressured, just sharing your experience and helping others understand why spaces like this are so important.

🆕This week we start a new journey through the ‘book’ of Acts. Acts is included in the New Testament which was written after the birth of Jesus. Acts is literally about the ‘acts’ of the first followers of Jesus and tells the story of what is often called ‘the early Church’. It documents how they try to overcome difference, learn to live together and care for one another as their community grew and spread.

🌍They face persecution from the Roman Empire and religious leaders but commit against the odds to learn more about what it means to follow the way of Jesus and how it can change the world.

☀️There is so much that we can be inspired and encouraged by and we’d love you to join us tomorrow as we get stuck in!
