What a great end to our masonic year and what a great evening we have had. Tonight we enjoyed a talk on "The office of senior warden". presented by W.Bro Andrew Pippen.
Very enjoyable and informative.
We then held our election for W.M for the ensuing year which will see W.Bro Chris Parrish install his successor in the chair in September after our summer break.
What a great year it has been. Thank you to everyone who has supported us this year and we look forward to coming back in September.

🏇🐎 Llantarnam Lodge 7901’s Annual Horse Racing Night was off to a flying start and truly galloped home in style!

It was a furlong night of fun, laughs, friendly rivalry and more dodgy betting tips than you could shake a jockey at. Family, friends, and brethren from several other lodges were all saddled up for a fantastic evening, and the atmosphere was absolutely stirrup-endous from start to finish.

Thankfully, nobody needed a photo finish to see what a great night it was, although a few members were seen jockeying for position at the bar between races! The only thing running faster than the horses was the banter around the room.
We hope everyone had an absolute gallop of a time, and thanks to the incredible support shown on the night, we are delighted to announce that the event raised a total of £1100 — a result well worth backing! 🏆

A huge thank you to everyone who organised the event, attended, sponsored races, bought horses, placed bets, and helped make the evening such a runaway winner.

Last night was a truly special occasion as we had the privilege of raising Bro. Luke Shephard to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason on behalf of Henllys Lodge.

The ceremony was conducted with great care, precision, and sincerity, reflecting the very best of what Freemasonry stands for. It was a proud moment not only for Bro. Luke as he took this significant step in his Masonic journey, but also for all those present who contributed to making the evening so memorable.

There was a real sense of unity and teamwork throughout, with brethren coming together to deliver a ceremony of the highest standard. Nights like these are a reminder of the strength of our fraternity and the lasting bonds it creates.

Congratulations to Bro. Luke Shephard on his raising—may your path in Freemasonry continue to be rewarding, enlightening, and filled with good fellowship.

A fantastic evening of Freemasonry as we proudly conducted a Ceremony of Raising on behalf of Henllys Lodge for Bro Nigel Cuttell 👏

A real team effort from everyone involved, coming together to deliver a smooth, meaningful, and memorable ceremony. Nights like this remind us what it’s all about—brotherhood, support, and shared success.

To top it off, a great time was had by all, with plenty of good company and conversation throughout the evening 🍽️
