Are you looking for a safe, welcoming space to connect with other women in your community? Our Torfaen Coffee Morning offers a relaxed and friendly environment where you can meet others, share experiences, and feel supported.

Whether you’d like to have a chat, build new connections, or simply enjoy a cup of coffee in good company, you are warmly invited. Everyone is welcome, come as you are.

Creating spaces like this helps bring women together, reduce isolation, and build confidence at your own pace, surrounded by understanding and support.

Last week was Learning Disability Week. At Cyfannol Women’s Aid, we recognise that people with learning disabilities can face additional barriers when accessing support, particularly if they are experiencing domestic abuse. We are committed to breaking down these barriers and ensuring our services are accessible, inclusive, and responsive to individual needs.

The Transform Toolkit is a key part of this work. It has been developed to support people with a learning disability to identify and escape domestic abuse, presenting information in a way that is clear, accessible, and easy to understand. The toolkit follows best practice guidelines for accessible information, helping individuals to recognise abuse and understand the support available to them.

Free Legal Drop-In Support – Blaenau Gwent Hwb

We’re working with CJCH Solicitors Blackwood office to offer a free, confidential drop-in service at our Blaenau Gwent Hwb.

When: 24 June 2026
Where: Rhys House, Unit A, James Street, Ebbw Vale, NP23 6JG
Time: 10am – 2pm

Specialist solicitors from the Private Family and Child Care team will be available to provide advice on topics such as:
- Social services involvement
- PLO and care proceedings
- Child arrangement applications
- Divorce, financial settlements and cohabitation disputes

This is a safe, supportive space for anyone affected by domestic abuse or family legal issues.
