Last Friday, we hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Through the kindness of staff and volunteers, we raised £234.80 and enjoyed some tasty treats 🍰

Citizens Advice Torfaen will be at Tasty Not Wasty this Thursday (17th of September) from 10 - 11:30 am. The advisers there will be able to advise on any energy/energy debt concerns, or information on benefits for people of pensionable age.

Please pop in and see us💙

We are happy to welcome you all back from tomorrow morning (Tuesday) and we will be going through the winter now with no breaks.

We are open 10-11.30am Tuesday to Saturday. There are no forms to do, no stories you have to say to the volunteers... Community Fridge is open to all. From people who need a little boost to those who like the ethos of not wasting food... you're all welcome.

There is no expectation of any donations but we would absolutely welcome them as we have had 2 weeks off with bills still going out.

Just a little note, as people were unsure as to what made a portion... we have made it easier and will be putting numbers on the boxes. We hope this means items can get shared out and people don't feel they have to wait in the cold and wet but can come whenever we are open.

So please follow volunteers directions, keep to the max numbers of items as shown and, do speak to the daily leader if you need anything further.

Ellie is one of our consumer advisors through the Consumer Helpline. She has worked for Citizens Advice Torfaen for 1 and a half years.

In the video, Ellie speaks about the advice her team delivers through the Consumer Helpline, what she has learnt in her time here, and how she enjoys working with the Consumer team.
