Georgie, one of our recent Friday Fundraisers, very kindly organised a fun run for families at Manor Farm in Diptford. We would like to give a shout-out and say a very big thank you to everyone who took part and helped raised an incredible £2200 for the Mustard Tree. It looked like you all had a great time while making a great difference, supporting patients and their families at the Mustard Tree Cancer Support Centre.

A huge thank you goes to the Callington Young Farmers Club, who have been brilliantly fundraising throughout the year to raise money for Birch and Bracken.

From organising a bingo night, a tractor run and dung sales, they have raised an incredible total of £5,500 💙 ✨

We’re so grateful to the Club and everyone who supported their fundraising, which will make a fantastic difference for patients and their families. Thank you all so so much.

£9000 raised so far!!! 👏👏 Huge well done to everyone taking part in the Bupa Dental Care South West's 'Every Round Counts' challenge this week for the Mustard Tree! Incredible effort from everyone involved - thank you 💙

We’re all very excited for the last day of ‘Every Round Counts’ box-a-thon happening in Exeter tomorrow! Andrew and his team have done a phenomenal job of raising over £9000 for The Mustard Tree which is amazing and will make a huge difference to everyone here! We will be there to support the last day of the challenge! Gloves at the ready 🥊 🌳

Over the last few years, almost 500 amazing fundraisers have taken on our Santa Slide, soaring above the Eden Project dressed in their Santa suits. This year, we're adding even more festive magic, because for the first time, the slide is taking place at night!

🎅 Suit up as Santa, take to the skies and enjoy a truly unforgettable experience while raising money for your local hospital.

Your fundraising will support projects that make a difference for patients and hospital staff across Plymouth, from funding specialist equipment and research to small comforts that make a big difference 💙

Between May and September 2026 one woman transformed Plymouth's new NHS Community Diagnostic Centre. Plymouth Hospital Charity commissioned Mrs Murals to create a more welcoming and relaxing environment for the patients and staff at the centre.

Friday Fundraiser Shout-out! ⭐

This week’s fundraising legend is Paula Tapp!

What an incredible few weeks it's been for Paula... She took on our Derriford Abseil with the STORM running team. Then, just a few days later, she completed a tandem skydive! 🪂

Paula's doing all of this to raise money for the Keep Me Close Neonatal Fund and is aiming to reach £4000 to support babies on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust and help families stay close during this difficult time.

🎉 FUNDRAISING TOTAL UPDATE!

We’re so excited to share the fundraising total for the Derriford Abseil 2026. Together, you’ve raised an incredible £24,027 for patients and staff across University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust!!

Thank you so much to everyone who abseiled, donated and cheered, as well as to the Devon Adventures crew and UHP volunteers who supported the event. You are all hospital heroes!

More than 100 people completed the challenge across the two days. You conquered fears, encouraged each other every step of the way, and brought amazing energy from start to finish. Not to mention your awesome costumes that made us smile all weekend long!

Thank you for making the abseil so special. Your support will help fund projects, equipment and research that improve experiences and make a difference across our hospitals 💙

🎉 Rebecca, Martin and James from Team Ctrl Alt Descent have raised £1,735 for the Keep Me Close Neonatal Fund after taking on the Derriford Abseil!

Rebecca shared: "It was definitely a challenge, but such a memorable experience. Knowing we were doing it to raise money for Keep Me Close, our Womble Bond Dickinson office charity, made it all the more worthwhile. Martin, James and I are so glad we did it!"
