Was great to get along to the Plymouth HOPE festival 2026 with some of our Stonehouse guys. A fantastic day of bringing communities together and celebrating diversity in all forms.

It was great to receive recognition from the Freemasons at The Provincial Grand Lodge of Devonshire’s recent annual WAKE event. We had the work we deliver praised in a ceremony with many other organisations from around the county and we also received a sizeable donation. A big thank you 🙏

On Friday some of our guys from our St Budeaux project went horse riding on the Moors with Cholwell Stables. They all had a great day out!

A big thank you to North Yard Community Trust CIO for the ongoing support and funding for our work in St Budeaux.

Yesterday was our final day of our Crime & Punishment project and it all ended with a guided tour of The Central Criminal Court (The Old Baily). The tour was absolutely fascinating and we even got to go into the legendary Court Number 1 and learn about some of the cases held there including The Kray Twins trial and The Yorkshire Ripper trial.

We also visited The Paradox Museum and get involved with making our own optical illusions.

All in all this was an awesome 3 days away with a fantastic group and lots of unique experiences. A big thank you to everyone involved including our funders for the project The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Devon and Cornwall.

So today is the very last day of our Crime & Punishment project that was set up and delivered by our awesome Criminology student and former young person Kitty Baines!

The project has been spread over 10 sessions and has been a journey for all of us. We have met reformed criminals and victims of crime, police officers and magistrates, visited a prison and undertook various workshops with the group. Today we finish it off with a tour of The Central Criminal Court (Old Baily) in London.

Here are some of our pictures so far and the feedback from the group has been amazing. One member said “I’ll definitely think twice before committing a crime now no matter how small” and another now considering taking a path into criminology just like Kitty!

A big thank you to The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Devon and Cornwall for funding and supporting this project 🫶
