Temperatures are set to rise this week with a yellow alert until 11pm Friday (26 June). It’s important we all take simple steps to stay safe and well. Hot weather can bring health risks including dehydration, heat exhaustion, and sun damage.

Protect yourself by:
• Staying hydrated, drink fluids regularly throughout the day
• Wear relaxed, lightweight clothing and dress comfortably
• Close blinds and windows in rooms that face the sun

If outdoors:
• Take regular breaks from the sun in cool or shaded areas, particularly between 11am and 3pm.
• Apply a high factor sun cream (30-50) and reapply regularly
• Wear a hat and sunglasses

Today some of the team used their volunteer hours to take part in a beach clean 🌊
Together we collected over 12 bags of rubbish from our beautiful coastline 🙌
From cans and bottles to nappies and takeaway waste, it all adds up.
We’re so lucky to enjoy these spaces, especially on sunny days, so let’s all do our bit to keep them clean 💙
