Lots happening in Park House tonight… we might have been a bit quieter than usual due to some birthday celebrations but it didn’t stop us being super busy!

There’s a great line up this year for Seaham Youth Festival 💕

With Creative Youth Opportunities, this years Youth Fest will be bigger than ever with a packed day of activities at Seaham Town Park on Sunday, 28th June from 11am to 5pm.

We have expanded the event area and for the first time we have two stages in addition to all the activities taking place inside the Town Hall and around the park.

Main Stage
11am-11.30am - Starz Drama School
11.30am-12pm - Aerial Hoop and Fire Show
12pm-12.30pm - Dynamique Arts
12.30pm–1pm - Solo Artists
1pm-1.30pm - Dance Pit
1.30pm-2pm – Solo Artists
2pm-2.30pm - Dream Dance Studios
2.30pm-3pm - Band ‘Taxi’
3pm-3.30pm - Seaham Music Academy
3.30pm-4pm - Starz Drama School
4pm-5pm - Seahams Got Talent Finals

Bus Stage
11.30am-12.15pm – DJ set by Seaham Youth Centre
12.15pm-3.15pm - Solo Artists

Town Hall
Youth Art Exhibition, Platform Art creation station, Youth Voice Wall, Create-a-TAG, Seaham Music Academy instruments taster sessions and workshops, Community stalls and information stands, Dance Pit workshop

In The Park
CYO circus activity tent, CYO side show funfair, Bubble entertainment, Face painting, Crafts, Giant inflatables, Game-on penalty shoot out, Community stalls.

Tuesdays, Home Ed at Park House… baking flap jacks, painting pebbles and murals, fixing up benches and popping our bird feeders back in place, a fab way to spend a morning 💕

Two weeks today we’ll be setting up ready for this fantastic Seaham event… this will be 6th Youth Festival for Seaham and we hope it’s going to be the biggest and best yet… we’ll be there adding our own style of creative activities and we’ll have some young volunteers too… we hope you can all join us 💕

Have you seen what we have going on each week for children and young people… if you have kids ages 5-11 or 10-19 we have some great youth sessions and art projects and activities for them to get involved in 💕

Last night some of our team and young people had an amazing experience… they went to welcome and cheer on the amazing Jill Scott - JS8 as she arrived at Bishop Auckland Football ground… we were invited along by StreetGames who support us through their Pears Foundation Fit n Fed fund… we were looked after last night by StreetGames and the team at Sport Relief and our young people had the most amazing time - thank you!

We do have a few reports of sleepy young people this morning but they had a blast 💥 and that’s what matters 💕

Our session at The Grove was a little short lived tonight as we had to rearrange plans as some of our young people head off to meet Jill Scott as she rides into Bishop Auckland Football club as part of her Sport Relief challenge 💕

We still checked on the planters, did a spot of weeding and worked on some shutter designs though!
