The Dinner Dance on the 12th of September includes a 3 course meal & Disco, as we welcome Don & Sav back for the disco, live entertainment as well.

It starts at 7pm with Dinner to be served around 7:30.

The prices are £25 members and £30 non members, all children under 16 are £12.

Dress code is Lounge Suit/Smart Casual

Places can be booked through Issy at the Fleet on 01733 560218, in person, replying to this mail or calling 07873497586

We would prefer payment when booking but If you cannot get to the Fleet to pay beforehand due to work commitments etc on the door will be fine but please attend if booking.

No tickets will be issued for this event but a receipt will be given if requested, Your name will be on the guest list at the door along with seating details.

When booking please let us know who you would prefer to be seated with and Please remind us of any dietary requirements, The pasta dish will be meat free and the main will be a chicken dish.

LITTLE CHANGE OF PLAN!
Our Race Night planned for Saturday 12th September has had to be rescheduled — but don’t worry, the fun isn’t cancelled!

A new date for race night will be confirmed ASAP, but likely to be in 2027, as we have other functions happening before Christmas.

We’re delighted to say that Sav and Don will be back at The Fleet, so after a lovely three-course dinner (menu tbc) you can hit the dance floor and dance the night away.

Arrival 7pm, dinner will be served at 7.30pm

The cost is £25 for members and £30 for non-members.

To save your seat, please contact Isabella at The Fleet by 7th September at the latest. This is a non-ticketed event, so once you’re booked in, you’re on the list!

Please let us know about any dietary requirements when you pay (cash preferred). Unfortunately, we won’t be able to offer refunds after 7th September.

CASUAL BAR STAFF REQUIRED
We are recruiting casual bar staff to work mainly weekends at both public and ICA events.
At least one year's bar experience is a must, as is the ability to remain cheerful and polite under pressure.
References and a personal licence will be required if a position is offered.

🇮🇹 What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of another fantastic year of learning Italian! 🇮🇹
Both my Beginners and Intermediate Italian groups have been an absolute pleasure to teach at The Fleet. It's been so rewarding to watch everyone's confidence grow, friendships blossom, and hear so much Italian being spoken throughout the year.
To top it all off, we enjoyed a delicious end-of-year meal together at Mamma Mia in Serpentine – the perfect way to celebrate everyone's hard work and achievements. Thank you to all my amazing students for making this such a special year. ❤️

ITALIAN LESSONS - AUTUMN TERM 2026
We are pleased to confirm that the children's lessons will start on Tuesday 8th September and the adult lessons will start on Wednesday 9th September.

Term will conclude on Tuesday 15th December for the children and on Wednesday 16th December for adults.

ALL ADULT STUDENTS MUST BE MEMBERS OF THE ICA TO BENEFIT FROM THE ITALIAN LESSONS, AND CHILDREN'S PARENTS MUST BE MEMBERS ALSO.

As lessons are run in accordance with school terms there will be no lessons during the October half term.

At present the adult intermediate class is full but there are a few spaces left in the beginners lessons in September. Becky will operate a waiting list for the adult intermediate lessons.

There will be a fee increase for the adult classes in September, and we will be contacting our current students by email to update them.

Please ensure that if you or your child/children wish to enrol for the autumn term, you go to the office at the Fleet to complete an enrolment form and pay the fees before Friday 4th September 2026.

Becky is unable to check forms and accept fees from you, as this admin eats into lesson times.
