La Comunita’ Italiana 🇮🇹 della Circoscrizione Consolare di Londra 🇬🇧, oltre ad essere molto numerosa e’ molto presente non solo a Londra. In particolare, a Peteborough – a circa 100 miglia a nord di Londra - vive una comunita’ composta da svariate migliaia di Connazionali che, domenica scorsa, hanno festeggiato la 🇮🇹Festa della Repubblica🇮🇹 presso l’Italian Community Association Peterborough, storico punto di riferimento della Comunita’ Italiana locale. Ho accettato con grande piacere l’invito del Cav. Marco Cereste (ex sindaco di Peterborough ed unico italiano ad aver ricoperto la carica di sindaco di una citta’ inglese) e sua moglie signora Maddalena Zambri Cereste, per festeggiare la Festa della Repubblica con i Connazionali a Peteborough, che incontro non frequantemente come vorrei, vista la distanza. Grazie per il cortese invito e la squisita ospitalita’!

We had a great evening tasting unique flavors, of Nepali and Indian cuisine, the portions very generous, rich flavors and innovative twists.

Everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner again for our Valentines dinner and dance, prepared and served by Katie and her team. Lots of compliments were passed on to them. Then the dance floor was packed with lots of people enjoying music provided by Brian from Steve Allen Entertainment.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the evening such a success 👏😊
