Celebrating Ukraine’s Independence Day in Peterborough 🇺🇦😊

It was wonderful to be part of today’s celebration marking the 35th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence, alongside the Ukrainian community and friends of Ukraine in Peterborough!

After the celebrations in Cathedral Square, we welcomed everyone to Compas Charity for a screening of the Ukrainian film БожеВільні (Diagnosis: Dissent) - a powerful story about freedom and the right to think and choose for yourself

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the screening and spent the evening together. A special thank you also goes to the organisers and everyone who contributed to today’s celebration 💙💛
