Less than 24 hours until our debut Eden Valley Artistic Network touring music event with Tom Stanley and Mrs Knox & The Good Time Boys taking the stage.

Make sure you don't miss out on a fantastic evening of music supporting Cumbrian musicians and the efforts of those keeping a great village hall's doors open for the wider community.

Admission is £8, doors open at 7pm, you can but tickets in advance via the QR code, or on the door when you arrive. All support will be greatly appreciated.

This Saturday is our debut Eden Valley Artistic Network touring music event with Tom Stanley and Mrs Knox & The Good Time Boys taking the stage.

It's great to be linking up with EVAN for their winter series, supporting locally based musicians and highlighting talented Cumbrian artists. Please come on down, it'll be a fantastic evening of music and a great chance to catch brilliant local talent!

Reflecting on another busy week here at MMVI and a big thank you to everyone who came and supported our evening book talk and reading by Cumbrian author Sarah Hall as she discussed her latest release Helm.
Fresh from picking up this year’s Lakeland Book of the Year prize for Helm, which centres around Cumbria’s famous named wind, it was great to witness Sarah in conversation with our very own Barbara Wallis, and thank you to the more than 60 people who came on Thursday night and packed out the hall.
Also a big thank you to Sarah’s publicist at and the lovely team at who were in attendance selling copies of Helm on the night, many of which were personally signed by the lovely Sarah herself.
