Sounds Around Town is back in Penrith for Summer 2026, bringing live music to the town centre every Saturday afternoon.

A fantastic performance from Mrs Knox and the Goodtime Boys last weekend set the tone perfectly, getting things off to a great start.

This Saturday, come and see Pete Garnett performing on Middlegate from around 2pm to 4pm. In the event of wet weather, performances will take place at the Bandstand.

Delivered by Penrith Town Council in partnership with Plug & Play, Eden Valley Artistic Network (EVAN), the Penrith Arts & Culture group and supported by Penrith BID, the programme celebrates local talent while adding to the town’s summer atmosphere.
