You’re invited to go in your PJs to next week’s Baby Bounce & Rhyme Time! Read more about it below.

Next week at Penrith Library we'll be celebrating Pyjamarama at our Baby, Bounce & Rhyme sessions on Tuesday and Thursday (10am and 11am).

We'd like to invite any parents, families, carers and children to join us in your PJs if you're coming along to one of the sessions.

Taking part in Pyjamarama gives schools, nurseries, libraries, clubs, parents and carers a great way to encourage children to read for pleasure.

So pop on your favourite PJs and we'll see you next week!

Another safety issue with a popular toy.

Does your child love these squishy dumplings? They’re the latest craze – with unboxing videos gaining millions of views.

But their popularity and high demand mean lots of fakes are now available to buy. And the counterfeit versions may contain harmful levels of dangerous chemicals.

✅ Buy from trusted retailers if you can – fakes may not meet our safety standards
✅ Check for proper labelling – missing safety information is a sign it’s fake
✅ If the toy is damaged, leaking or smells unusual, stop using it
✅ Avoid buying for under 3s - they’re most at risk from dangerous toys.
