What an absolute cracker of a day! 🇬🇧⚽️
We kept our World Cup theme rolling with England🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 as the team of choice — and were treated to the incredible Raddon Hill Club Morris Dancers, who completely blew us away!

A few extra brave souls jumped in too… and let’s just say the dance moves did not disappoint. Pure joy, big smiles and lots of Fun.

And yes — we wrapped it all up with a cheeky cream tea ☕️🫖

🌍⚽ World Cup Fever Continues! 🇧🇷🎉

Today we kept the World Cup theme going with another brilliant session celebrating the countries taking part — and this time it was all about Brazil!

The fantastic ROC Samber brought pure carnival vibes, filling the day with colour, rhythm and that unmistakable Brazilian spirit.

🌟 Learning Disability Week at Hollacombe — What a Week! 🌟

This week has truly been one to remember as we celebrated Learning Disability Week with a fantastic range of events both here at Hollacombe and out in the community.

We kicked things off with our Scottish Day, part of our World Cup–themed celebrations, before heading over to the brilliant Big Bash organised by the wonderful teams at Torbay Mencap and the Learning Disability Partnership Board. It was a joy meeting so many families, providers, new faces and familiar ones — the sense of community was incredible.

Midweek, we were treated to an amazing themed music session from Amanda, which had everyone smiling and singing along.

We rounded off the week with our very own celebration event here at Hollacombe, featuring fantastic performances from ROC, and a brilliant sports session delivered by Torquay & Kingskerswell Cricket Club. .

Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported us, and helped make this week so special. 💙

🐰🌸 Easter Fun for Everyone! 🌸🐰

Today we had a very special visit from the Easter Bunny, who brought along lots of delicious treats for everyone to enjoy! 🍫✨

It was lovely to see so many smiles and to share in the fun together. A great way to celebrate the Easter spirit! 🐣💛

This week we have been learning all about different foods and tastes from around the world 🌍

We have celebrated Chinese New Year and also enjoyed marking Shrove Tuesday, along with many other exciting sessions exploring global traditions and flavours.

To top it all off, we were delighted to welcome the truly wonderful Rocksteady for a fantastic music session — a brilliant experience for everyone involved! 🎶

What an exciting and enriching week it has been… and we still have Friday to go!
