21st-century children: Complex challenges, networked solutions. This unmissable presentation will be lead by one of our keynote speakers Lucy Culver, OBE. A Professor of Child and Family Social Work, Department of Social Policy and Intervention and Professorial Governing Body Fellow, Nuffield College, she has an exceptional track record of impact, with several awards to her name.

Phil Green is the Chief Executive at Viva, Co-catalyst, Lausanne Movement's Children at Risk Issue Network and he will be speaking on “The Network Paradox”:

The Bible promises a future where God makes everything new with no more pain, no more tears, and no more suffering.

This is good news for children who are either grieving loss, living in poverty, or affected by war or disaster.
Their story does not end in suffering. God will renew the world.

Prayer Focus:
- Pray for children who are suffering to experience hope.
- Pray for healing and restoration.
- Pray that many would come to know Jesus, our living hope.

When the storm came, the disciples were afraid. But Jesus spoke, and everything changed: “Peace, be still.”

Although many children live in fear because of war and conflict, violence in communities, floods and disasters, we need to remember that the world is still under God’s authority.

God rules over storms and natural disasters, nations and leaders, situations that feel out of control.

Prayer Focus:
- Pray for children living in fear due to conflict or disaster.
- Pray for peace in troubled regions.
- Pray for courage and trust in God.

Jesus reminds us that God cares for birds and flowers, and even more for people. God not only made the world, but He also sustains it daily.

Yet many children today face hunger and lack of clean water, homelessness or displacement, and families struggling to provide.

We, however, need to remember that God sees and cares for his people. And most often provides through His people – through acts of generosity, kindness, and justice.

Prayer Focus:
- Pray for children lacking food, water, and shelter.
- Pray for families under economic pressure.
- Pray that the church would be generous and compassionate.

Children and adults who participated in the World Weekend of Prayer organised by Viva partner Mwanza Children Action Network (MCAN) in Tanzania had a great time last year - and are really looking forward to this year’s events!
