Oswestry and Borders Foodbank Distribution centre in Oswestry. For opening times see website: www.oswestryandborde Part of the Trussell Trust network of foodbanks.

Oswestry distribution centre at 56 Beatrice Street open on Mondays and Thursdays 11.00 am to 2.00pm (closed on Bank Holiday Mondays, but open on the Tuesday instead). Ellesmere distribution centre in Methodist Church hall, open Tuesdays and Fridays 12.00 to 1.00. If you have a voucher and have problems getting to a distribution centre phone 01691 671940 and we will try to arrange something.

We had a little helper collecting donations this week 🤩

She said “everyone will be so impressed because there’s so much food!” And she’s right!

A huge THANK YOU to staff and customers of Stan’s Supermarket in St. Martins. Over 40kg of food collected including “treat” items that we can only give out if they are donated such as ketchup, mayo and bags of sweets 😊

We're often asked if anyone can come along to the OsNosh Community Cafe......the answer is yes!

If you are able to pay for your lunch, your contribution helps pay our overhead costs and keeps us running. If you are able to pay extra, that helps us provide a meal for someone who needs one. If you're not able to pay for your meal, you are also very welcome- your lunch is paid for by your local Community, working together to support everyone.

Please come along and support us in whatever way you can, to help prevent food waste, and to help strengthen and support our local community 💚

As the new financial year begins, we’ve seen a significant rise in demand for our services. In April alone, we distributed 301 food parcels, providing essential support to 628 people — a 29% increase compared to the same time last year.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who gives their time, donates food, or contributes financially. Your support makes it possible for us to respond to this growing need and continue helping those in our community. 💚
