Eamon’s wife, Roisin, shared these heartfelt words:

“Eamon’s anniversary cycle was a very special day for our family. To see so many of Eamon’s friends cycling and walking together is an emotional moment I will never forget.

Omagh Wheelers have always made a point of remembering Eamon, which means so much to me and our boys. Arvalee School were exceptional in their support at both our first, as well as this tenth anniversary event, and we are delighted to be able to support Friends of Arvalee with this donation.”

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 to everyone who cycled, walked, volunteered and donated to make this 10th anniversary event such a fitting tribute to Your support helped turn a special day of remembrance into something that will make a real difference locally.

⚠️𝗨𝗟𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗖𝗫 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗗⚠️

Unfortunately, the committee and events team have had to make the difficult decision to cancel Round 1 of the Ulster CX Series at Ecclesville on Sunday, due to a yellow weather warning in the area.

As the event takes place on council land, we must follow the relevant safety considerations. The safety of our riders, volunteers, spectators and everyone involved has to come first.

We know how much work has gone into preparing for this event, and we share the disappointment of everyone who was looking forward to racing.

Refunds will be issued to all riders who have completed their entries. We will also explore the possibility of arranging an alternative date and will share any updates as soon as we can.

Thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, riders and supporters for your understanding.

Please stay safe, and we hope to see you all on the start line soon.
