Help Nottinghamshire Law Society raise money to support Nottingham Law Centre

We are looking to recruit admin staff with strong organisational skills to provide support to the solicitors and advisers workers and to help the centre to run smoothly.

We are looking for both full time (37.5 hours Monday to Friday) and part time (17 hours) administrators.

Salary £25000 to £27000 depending on experience (pro rata for part time)

Nottingham Law Centre provides free legal advice and representation to people who are facing issues with debt, benefits, housing and immigration. The centre is extremely busy with a high demand on our services

Nottingham Law Centre is a long established provider of Housing Advice and representation. We run the Housing Possession Court Duty Scheme in Nottingham. We are looking for a solicitor or experienced housing adviser to join our team.

The solicitor/adviser will ideally have experience of legal aid work and will undertake all areas of housing work including Possession Proceedings, ASB, Homelessness, Disrepair and Unlawful Eviction.

Housing Solicitor/Adviser

Location – office based but with option of hybrid working.
Salary £30,000 to £38,000 depending on experience.
Full time hours

We are also seeking a paralegal to work in our housing team. The role will involve working along side the solicitors and experienced advisers in the team across all areas of housing law.

Housing Paralegal/adviser

Location – office based but with option of hybrid working.
Salary £24,000 - £26,000 depending on experience.
Full time hours.

Nottingham Law Centre helps some of the most vulnerable people in Nottingham facing issues with Housing, Debt, Benefits and Immigration. We are a trusted organisation in the local community with a reputation for providing high quality advice and representation.

We are currently seeking:

1. Senior Debt Adviser full time 37 hours £26 - £28,000 depending on experience.
2. Debt adviser part time 20 hours £25 - £27,000 pro rata depending on experience.

Staff and friends of the Nottingham Law Centre joined other members of the legal community in Nottingham last week to partake in the Legal Walk 2024.

The annual 10km walk aims to raise much-needed money for access to justice. The current fundraising total is £1,723! We are very grateful to anyone who has donated so far to the worthy cause.
