As 3rd Fridays at Sumac are free it has been suggested to host informal monthly discussions about some of the principles related to the vision of Sumac Centre.

We are starting tonight!

Tonight's theme is something like: "What does anarchism mean in the context of Sumac organising"?

E.g. for some it may mean encouraging a community built on mutual aid, independent of statutory interference, whilst others might suggest that we are working for an anarchist revolution. Perhaps they are the same thing.

Drop in anytime from 7pm. The bar will be open and there will be Samosas for Social Change.

💥*UPDATE*💥

We have unfortunate news, a member of The Sporadics immediate family passed away yesterday morning and is in no position to play, so they've had to cancel their slot. Sumac fully supports, and sends love to the Sporadics, and are blessed, like with so many people, for their continual support for our scene/culture and politics. We are presently sourcing another band to play alongside anarchistwood and Drivelheads at short notice, to fill such a wonderful space. I know many of you have bought tickets and may be disappointed. But I'm sure that you understand that Sumac is a small committed outfit that will do our best to make this event special and affordable, that all this love, support and solidarity is all ploughed back in.
