Hi Business Management & Leadership Society! I just wanted to remind you that nominations for School Education Rep and for SU Student Leader elections will close on Monday 16th February at 12pm. It's really important that students put themselves forwards to be School Education Rep (SER) for their school/department, to lead the team of Course Reps, link to the Education Officer, and push for changes to benefit students both in the school/department and University-wide. One great example is that of the Business SER, who last year managed to get final year students included in an offer to change their degree from a BA to a BSc that wouldn't have happened for these students without intervention from the SER and Course Reps.
It's a fantastic thing to have on the CV, showing great leadership skills amongst other transferable skills that employers value highly!
